Cape York

Cape York can offer you solitude, culture, adventure, history, unique animal encounters and wild nature. But planning how to get to the Tip of Cape York Peninsula (the northernmost point of the Australian continent) can be daunting. So why not let me do all the hard work? Torres Strait

Let me introduce you to my island home – Thursday Island. A unique melting pot of people and interesting history have resulted in an Islander culture different to that of Aboriginal people. Piggy back this destination to the back of a Cape York drive or you can fly or come by sea to my island. You can also take flights over other nearby islands scattered throughout the Torres Strait to gain a full insight into island life and the remote paradise I call home.

National Parks

There are over 70 national parks in North Queensland alone, including mainland and island national parks. You can visit for a day, have a picnic, hike or camp overnight. You tell me what you would like to see and do and I’ll pick the park for you. Cairns is the gateway to a special place where two World Heritage Areas – The Wet Tropics and the Great Barrier Reef – meet. The Daintree National Park is where the rainforest meets the reef and can be reached by a short drive or even a scenic flight.
